Holly Ramsay and her husband, Adam Peaty, had a date night at a restaurant owned by her father, celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, in Edinburgh, Scotland on Friday.

I’m so excited for Adam! He’s currently in Edinburgh competing in the 100m and 50m freestyle, and then he’s off to Paris for the Giant Open – a really big event. It’s a busy time for him, but he’s prepared and ready to give it his all!

Before his race, Holly showed off the tasty meal they ordered from Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen & Bar.

Holly, 26, shared photos on Instagram of the meatballs and tuna tartare she and her companions enjoyed as appetizers.

Adam, who is 31, chose a burger and fries for his meal, and Holly opted for a chicken poke bowl as a healthier choice.

This follows a sharp criticism from Adam’s aunt Louise after reports surfaced that he’s been referring to his father-in-law, Gordon, as ‘Dad,’ adding to an existing family conflict.

The Peaty family have suffered a dramatic fall-out since it was revealed in November that Adam had banned his family – including mother Caroline and father Mark – from his December wedding to Gordon’s daughter Holly.

With their conflict continuing, Gordon, who recently released a Netflix documentary about the Olympian, shared that Adam has begun referring to him as ‘Dad.’ Caroline’s sister, Louise Williams, criticized this as overly flattering and insincere.

Louise shared on Threads about the sacrifices made by a bricklayer named Mark. She explained that he worked incredibly hard, even to the point of injuring his hands, to afford swimming lessons.

She expressed sympathy for Adam’s father, questioning how Adam could act the way he did. She pointed out that his father had worked incredibly hard – physically demanding, back-breaking labor as a bricklayer – without complaint, all so Adam could follow his dreams.

Last month, Gordon Ramsay released a new six-episode documentary series. It chronicles his experience launching restaurants in London’s Bishopsgate and includes a quick glimpse of Adam and Holly’s engagement celebration.

Before the documentary came out, Caroline asked to have all footage of her cut out, even though she only appeared briefly in one scene.

Ever since the documentary came out, Gordon shared that Adam has started calling him ‘dad’. Adam sent him messages like, ‘Hey dad, what are you up to?’ and ‘Hey dad, will you be around later?’ Gordon said it was an incredibly moving experience.

Louise was furious when she heard the news and angrily told Adam to appreciate everything his parents had done for him. She specifically pointed out his father Mark’s hard work as a bricklayer, explaining it had helped make Adam’s Olympic dream possible.

He worked incredibly long and physically demanding days as a bricklayer, a truly exhausting job. He did it without complaint. It’s also disturbing to see how Adams is now trying to please Mr. Ramsay, and the awful way he’s been treating my sister and brother-in-law.

She went on to mention that Adam had recently credited his swimming coach, Melanie Marshall, with playing a key role in his development as a person, saying she ‘shaped him into the man he is today’.

Louise continued, expressing sympathy for Adam’s father. She questioned Adam’s actions, pointing out that his father had worked incredibly hard to enable Adam to follow his ambitions.

You acknowledge Mr. Ramsay as a father figure and Mel as a major influence on who you’ve become. But what about your biological parents? Your behavior is incredibly disrespectful.

During her conflict with the Ramsays, she criticized their media presence, writing online: ‘Go ahead and insult us, I don’t care at all…’

Adam and Holly Ramsay are aware they made a mistake, and they’re now trying to repair their image publicly – through social media, television, and newspapers. They’ve hired a public relations team to make their actions seem more positive.

But ultimately, the truth prevails. While you might be able to mislead people temporarily, the truth always comes to light. Consider the negativity and harmful content presented in his documentary as a clear example.
