However, our focus is always on the character’s backstory and personality. For Kai, he seems to prefer his shirt open, and he has a small whale emblem. We simply choose elements that fit the character best.

Essentially, Berman explained that every character in Obsidian Entertainment is carefully designed, including our friend Kai, who captured the hearts of many online simply by having his shirt open and wearing a small whale pendant.
