Helen Hunt, 62, got a fantastic glow up at a splashy fashion show in France this week.

The actress, known for “As Good As It Gets,” looked stunning with perfectly styled blonde hair. She wore a white blouse, a leather skirt, and playful red heels.

The popular actress from the 1990s also shared a rare photo with her 21-year-old daughter, Makena Lei Gordon Carnahan.

They were at Stella McCartney WI26 Show at Le Grand Manege Jean Caucanas on Wednesday in Paris.

Hunt is a highly acclaimed actress with awards from the Academy Awards, Golden Globes, and Emmys.

Hunt’s other notable films include Twister, Cast Away, What Women Want and Pay It Forward.

Helen Hunt was born in Culver City, California, in 1963 and started her acting career as a child, appearing on television for the first time in the 1973 series, Pioneer Woman.

Helen Hunt became famous for playing Jamie Buchman on the TV show Mad About You, alongside Paul Reiser. The show ran from 1992 to 1999.

In 1997, Helen Hunt received the Academy Award for Best Actress for her role in As Good as It Gets, where she acted alongside Jack Nicholson.

She built on her film career with starring roles in popular movies like Twister (1996), Pay It Forward (2000), and The Sessions (2012), for which she received an Academy Award nomination.

Hunt made her feature film directorial debut with Then She Found Me (2007).

I’ve been a fan of her for years, and I know she was married to Matthew Carnahan, a producer, for a long time – from 2001 until 2017. They have a beautiful daughter together, Makena, who was born in 2004. I always loved seeing how supportive they were of each other’s work.

Hunt reprised her iconic role as Jamie Buchman in the Mad About You revival, which aired in 2019. 

She’s also directed episodes of well-known TV series like Blindspotting (2021) and The Politician (2020), solidifying her reputation as a talented director.

Helen was also a guest star on Hacks season three. 

In June 2025 Hunt said she refuses to conform to Hollywood’s beauty standards.

The actress once felt pressured to conform to beauty standards, but she’s developed a different perspective recently.

In a conversation with Flow Space, Helen shared that she felt immense pressure to conform to a specific beauty standard. She described feeling unhappy and ashamed when she didn’t measure up to it.

Helen used to struggle with how Hollywood portrayed beauty, and it made her feel insecure. But now, she’s determined not to let those expectations negatively impact her well-being.

The celebrity explained they had a sudden realization: this situation could completely derail your life without you even realizing it. Because of that, they decided to disengage and refused to dwell on it any further.

She’s developed a new approach inspired by the book The Only Diet There Is by spiritual teacher Sondra Ray.

The actress explained: ‘What I took from it, is eat what you want and love every bite, period.’

Meanwhile, the star  previously admitted to obsessing about her appearance in the 1980s.

The actress used to feel a lot of pressure to maintain a specific appearance, but shifting her mindset has completely changed her life for the better.

She shared with HuffPost Live that she used to be very self-conscious about her appearance. She explained that during the 1980s, there was a lot of pressure to be thin and fit, and she became overly preoccupied with her weight and how she looked.

Her change in attitude has benefited her mental and physical health.

The award-winning actress shared that she stopped stressing about things, and as a result, her mental and physical health improved.

I used to go to exercise classes focused on abs, thighs, and glutes, and I started wondering if it was worth spending an hour there, knowing I wouldn’t live forever.
