Hackers are increasingly using a common tactic to commit crypto scams: they seize control of a legitimate account, fill it with misleading information about investment opportunities, and attempt to withdraw funds before the owner realizes what’s happening. This isn’t limited to crypto; celebrities and other popular accounts on social media have also been targeted.
The good news is that issues like this are usually fixed quickly. Once YouTube confirms who owns the account, channels are typically back up and running within a few hours or days. We’ll continue to share updates here as we work to get the official channel restored.
