
As a huge Harry Potter fan, I was so excited when HBO finally dropped the first trailer for their new series last week! It’s officially happening, and they’re starting with ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ this Christmas! What’s really cool is they’re planning a ten-year project, aiming to be much more true to the books than previous adaptations. They’ve cast a brand new group of actors – Dominic McLaughlin is Harry, Alastair Stout is Ron, and Arabella Stanton is Hermione – and they’re hoping most of them will stay with the show for the whole run. The only slight downside is that we’ll have to wait a while for season two, which is a little frustrating considering how young the actors are now!
