I was so impressed with Hannah Waddingham hosting Saturday Night Live UK recently – she was amazing! And now I just found out she’s landed a role in a new heist thriller called The Teller! It sounds really exciting, and the cast is fantastic with Stephanie Hsu and Guy Pearce joining her. I can’t wait to see it!
Ben Ripley wrote and directed this film, which is his first time in the director’s chair. Critics have compared it to movies like The Usual Suspects and The Town.
According to Deadline, the upcoming film, set in San Francisco, centers around Violet, a bank teller who gets caught up in a complex scheme. A dishonest FBI agent tricks her into robbing the bank, but this is only the first step in a larger, more elaborate con.

The UK and Ireland are collaborating on a new film, and shooting will start this fall in Northern Ireland. The finishing touches will then be added in the Republic of Ireland.
Martin Brennan from Teller Films UK, along with Jessica Malanaphy and Samantha Shear, are producing The Teller.
