After Euphoria episode 5’s shock cliffhanger, season 3 confirms finale will break major record

After the dramatic cliffhanger at the end of episode five of Euphoria season three, HBO has announced the finale will be a record-breaker for the network. Euphoria came back earlier this year after a four-year hiatus and has been a major topic of conversation ever since its return.

The fifth episode concluded with a shocking scene: Rue Bennett, played by Zendaya, was caught acting suspiciously by drug dealer Alamo (Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje) and his crew. As a consequence, they forced her to dig her own grave and then buried her up to her neck.

I just heard the craziest news! Apparently, the last episode of the season is going to be HUGE – it’s going to be the longest one HBO has ever made, clocking in at a full 93 minutes! I can’t believe it, I’m so excited!

Game of Thrones currently holds the title, with season eight, episode three at 82 minutes.

This season’s finale might be the end of Euphoria, as Zendaya has suggested episode eight could be the last one ever.
