Halo Infinite 'Operation: Fleetcom' Coming Next Week With New Forge Features and Return of 4v4 VIP Mode

As a devoted Halo fan with years of experience under my belt, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming Operation: Fleetcom update in Halo Infinite! The return of VIP mode, a team-based 4v4 game type that was a staple in Halo 3, is enough to make my heart race. I’ve spent countless hours strategizing and coordinating with my teammates to protect the VIP while taking down the opposition.

Next week, 343 Industries is bringing Operation: Fleetcom to Halo Infinite. This update includes the comeback of VIP mode, enhanced Forge features, several improvements to the user experience, and adjustments to weapons, grenades, and vehicles for better gameplay balance.

In “VIP mode,” which hasn’t been seen since Halo 3, teams face off in a 4vs4 match in Forge and Custom Games. The objective is for each team to secure and shield their designated VIP player while trying to eliminate the opposing team’s VIP.

Regarding the new features in Forge, they’ve introduced the popular Halo multiplayer announcer Jeff Steitzer with over a thousand lines of Voice Over (VO) at your disposal. Use this for enhanced authenticity or go all out with maximum silliness. Additionally, new music and mission markers have been included in the Forge toolkit.

Beginning on July 30th, Operation: Fleetcom will be activated in Halo Infinite. For a comprehensive review of the modifications made to weapons, grenades, and vehicles, please visit Halo Waypoint for further details. Don’t forget to watch the teaser trailer below as well.
