GRS and ShibuyaMeltdown Turn Tokyo’s Late-Night Subculture Into Streetwear Essentials

Summary

GRS has partnered with the popular social media account ShibuyaMeltdown to create a limited-edition clothing collection. The collection features t-shirts, hats, photo-print shirts, and bags, all inspired by the energy of Tokyo’s nightlife. You can find the collection at a temporary pop-up shop in Tokyo from July 26th to August 2nd.

GrowthRing & Supply, a fashion brand based in Hong Kong, is partnering with the popular Instagram account ShibuyaMeltdown on a new clothing collection. ShibuyaMeltdown is known for its photos of people sleeping on the streets of Tokyo after a night out, capturing a unique slice of the city’s nightlife. This collaboration takes those images and turns them into a collection that celebrates this interesting part of Japanese culture.

This new collection, priced between $13 and $179 USD (¥2,068 – ¥29,260 JPY), captures the edgy energy of Tokyo’s nightlife in wearable streetwear. It features items like the Shibuya Meltdown Tee, an embroidered cap, a photoprint shirt, and a tote bag – all inspired by late-night scenes in Shibuya. Key details include custom “Shibuya Meltdown” lettering on the shirts, skull graphics as accents, and bold Japanese characters that also say “Shibuya Meltdown,” displayed over a distressed red spray paint effect.

GRS is launching a limited-time popup shop from July 26th to August 2nd, 2026, to celebrate the new release. There will also be a launch party open to everyone on July 25th at BENCH AT THE GREENE MEIJIPARKMAE in Tokyo.
