Gentle Monster Unveils Second Google & Samsung Smart Frame

Summary

Gentle Monster has launched its second pair of smart glasses, created in collaboration with Google and Samsung. The glasses have a square frame and feature built-in audio, a camera, microphones, and Google’s Gemini AI. The campaign for the new eyewear was shot by Éamonn Zeel Freel and stars models Anok Yai and Alex Consani.

Gentle Monster recently shared the second design from its new line of smart glasses, created with Google and Samsung. Building on the first design revealed earlier this year, these glasses have a simple, square shape and a more subtle look that still reflects Gentle Monster’s style.

Gentle Monster’s new design breaks typical categories, bringing their unique style to everyday eyewear that’s meant to be worn easily and naturally. Before the collection launched, the brand revealed its look with a bold photoshoot by Éamonn Zeel Freel, featuring models Anok Yai and Alex Consani.

These smart glasses are designed to work smoothly with both Android phones (like Samsung Galaxy and Google Pixel) and iPhones. Using a connected app on your smartphone, you can control them with your voice to play music, make calls, take photos hands-free, translate languages instantly, get directions, record videos, and access helpful AI features—all while staying focused on what’s happening around you.

Designed for lightweight, all-day comfort, the frames feature up to 9 hours of battery life on a single charge and an accompanying charging case that provides 7 or more additional full charges. The second frame joins the initial style ahead of the full collection launch, slated for release later this fall.
