The new thriller Prisoner, from Sky, will premiere soon. A trailer has just been released for the series, which comes from Otto Bathurst (the director of BAFTA-winning Peaky Blinders) and Matt Charman (writer of Hostage). It’s being described as gripping and full of suspense.
You’ll be able to watch every episode of the show by subscribing to Sky and streaming it on their apps, like NOW, starting on Thursday, April 30th.
The trailer shows us what the movie is about: a prison transport officer named Amber is responsible for getting a dangerous contract killer, Tibor, to court for his trial.

But during their journey, the vehicle they were traveling in came under attack. To ensure they both made it to where they needed to go, Amber decided to handcuff them together.
He warns her that those pursuing him will stop at nothing to protect the secrets he knows. For both of their safety, Amber might have to take drastic action.
What to Read Next
The show stars Izuka Hoyle, known for her roles in Big Boys and Boiling Point, alongside Tahar Rahim, who you might recognize from The Serpent.
I was really excited to see some familiar faces popping up in the supporting roles! You might recognize Eddie Marsan from Back to Black, Finn Bennett from True Detective, and Leonie Benesch from Late Shift – they’re all great actors and I’m glad they’re involved.

Filming for the next Peaky Blinders series began last month, not long after the movie The Immortal Man came out.
The show will jump ahead to the 1950s and feature a new cast, including actors known from James Bond, Stranger Things, and Downton Abbey.
Erasmus ‘Duke’ Shelby, Tommy Shelby’s son, will now be played by Jamie Bell, known for his roles in Billy Elliot and Rocketman. This is the second time the character has been recast.
Prisoner will be available to watch in full on Sky and NOW from 20 April.
The latest issue of Living Legends, a beautiful 100-page, full-color tribute to Sir David Attenborough, is now available! You can find it at newsstands or purchase it online.
