Grayscale’s Crypto Picks: Maple, Geodnet, and Story Steal the Spotlight!

In a move that surprised absolutely no one (because let’s face it, the crypto world thrives on unpredictability), asset management behemoth Grayscale has updated its list of crypto assets under consideration. This time, they’ve thrown their weight behind Maple, Geodnet, and Story, which are apparently the projects they’re most excited about this quarter. On April 10, Grayscale Investments decided to shuffle its crypto deck, adding a smorgasbord of new assets to its DeFi, AI, Smart Contract Platforms, and other sectors. Among the new kids on the block are Mantra (OM), Maple (SYRUP), Pendle (PENDLE), and Lombard (LMBR) in the DeFi sector. Because, you know, the world definitely needs more acronyms. 🤷‍♂️

In the AI and Data Oracles sector, Grayscale has welcomed Sentient (SENT), Prime Intellect (PRIME), and Space and Time (STT). Meanwhile, the Smart Contract Platforms sector is now home to Babylon (BABY), Berachain (BERA), Celestia (TIA), and Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR). And for those who love Decentralized Identity and Web3, Toncoin (TON), Arbitrum (ARB), TRON (TRX), and VeChain (VET) are now under consideration. Because nothing says “decentralized” like a list of centralized decisions. 😏

Not to be outdone, the NFTs and Metaverse sectors have added Immutable (IMX), Story (IP), and Aixbt (AIXBT). And in the Utilities & Services sector, Grayscale has included DeepBook (DEEP), Eigen Layer (EIGEN), and Geodnet (GEOD). Because who doesn’t love a good utility token? 🛠️

Now, before you start mortgaging your house to invest in these shiny new assets, Grayscale would like to remind you that being “under consideration” doesn’t necessarily mean they’ll make it into their investment products.
