Gerard Butler’s action sequel is on TV tonight
As a longtime fan of Gerard Butler and his action-packed performances, I can hardly contain my excitement for the upcoming “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera.” But if you just can’t wait that long, there’s good news! Tonight (December 12), “Angel Has Fallen” is airing at 11.45pm on Film4. I remember watching the first two movies multiple times, and this one was a bit underrated in the box office. So, if you’re up for it, grab some popcorn and settle in!
Next year, Gerard Butler will be back in high-gear with the movie “Den of Thieves 2: Pantera“, however, if you simply can’t contain your excitement, there’s a series from one of his other franchises airing on TV tonight.
In simpler terms, “Angel Has Fallen” marks the conclusion (for the time being) of the action trilogy, and it involves Mike Banning being falsely accused of trying to kill the U.S. President. There has been a movie titled “Night Has Fallen” in development for some time now.
The third film in the series earned less money than the others, but you’re free to form your own opinion about its worth. Tune in tonight, December 12th at 11:45 pm, as “Angel Has Fallen” airs on Film4 if you’d like to see it for yourself.
If it turns out that Angel Has Fallen is airing too late for us to catch it on television, we have good news! Fortunately, you can watch the movie on Channel 4’s streaming service after its initial broadcast.
Can’t stand the anticipation for the movie “Angel Has Fallen“? Go ahead and rent or purchase it instantly on Amazon Prime Video!
In addition to Gerard Butler returning as Mike Banning, the film also brings back Morgan Freeman in his role as Allan Trumbull, now serving as the U.S. President, while Piper Perabo steps into the shoes previously held by Radha Mitchell, portraying Mike’s wife Leah.
Additionally, it introduces Nick Nolte portraying Mike’s distant father, Clay, and the late Lance Reddick in the role of Secret Service Director, David Gentry.
Although a possible fourth film in the “Has Fallen” series is yet to come, the universe of these movies has grown with the Prime Video series titled “Paris: Fallen”.
In a different yet similar storyline, the series diverges from the film trilogy, yet retains a comparable theme. A security guard and a British intelligence agent must join forces in this tale to safeguard the French Defense Minister from potential threats posed by terrorists.
Angel Has Fallen airs tonight (December 12) at 11.45pm on Film4.
