Freddy Brazier says Mother’s Day is ‘the hardest time’ for him as he reveals he’s been confiding in his late mum Jade Goody at her gravestone ahead of the birth of his first child

Freddy Brazier shared that Mother’s Day is particularly difficult for him, as he’s been talking to his late mother, Jade Goody, at her graveside while preparing for the arrival of his first child.

The 21-year-old influencer’s mother, Jade, passed away from cervical cancer when he was only four years old. Sadly, she died on Mother’s Day in 2009.

After Jade, the reality TV star, passed away, her son Freddy was raised by his father, Jeff, along with his older brother, Bobby.

With Mother’s Day approaching this Sunday, Freddy shared that the day is tough for him. He often finds himself imagining how he’d celebrate with his mother if she were still here.

Freddy is going to be a father with his former partner, Holly Swinburn, and he’s been visiting his mother’s grave to share the news with her.

He shared with The Sun that he often feels envious when he sees people spending Mother’s Day with their mothers, wishing he could have that same special day with his own mum.

‘But now, I’ll be able to make new memories with my baby daughter.’

Discussing visiting Jade’s grave, Freddy said it brings him comfort to be able to talk to her. 

He explained that he had shared updates about the baby and his own emotions with her, but admitted it felt strange talking to a gravestone.

Freddy is back together with his ex-girlfriend, who is 22 years old. They broke up previously when she discovered he had been partying with other women and using cannabis at her house while she was traveling.

Freddy has promised to be a great dad, and he showed his commitment this weekend by showering Holly with roses and being very affectionate with her during a walk. They’re expecting their baby in April.

The couple were spotted stopping to sit on a bench, where they engaged in a snogging session.

Holly discovered she was pregnant in August and she and Freddy split in November.

However, reports suggest Holly’s family remains worried that Freddy might still be affected by his grandmother, Jackiey Budden, who is 68 years old. This concern follows a previous attempt by his father, Jeff, to prevent her from having contact with her grandson.

Freddy recently confirmed to The Sun that he and his partner are back together and doing better than ever, describing it as a new beginning for both of them.

According to a source, Freddy is thrilled about starting a family and recently reconnected with Holly at her baby shower last month.

‘He has been focusing on maturing and preparing to be a dad. It all feels really positive.’ 

Those close to the family have expressed worry about Jackiey’s strong influence on her grandson, explaining that she’s unpredictable and overly protective of him. They feel she struggles to let others share a relationship with him.

‘So there are serious concerns about how she will act when the baby arrives.’
