Former X Factor star Dylan Holloway reveals Rylan’s four-word response to him transitioning after singer shared his ‘inspiring’ story

In 2012, when Rylan was also a contestant, the musician (age 31) performed alongside Simeon Dixon as part of the duo MK1 in the same television show.
In a candid conversation, Dylan shared that he maintains contact with the presenter and recently ran into him at a podcast event held in London.
Meeting for the first time since Dylan’s transition, he revealed the first thing Rylan said to him was: ‘”You sexy little minx, you look so sexy”. Honestly, that was really nice.’
In a candid discussion, he revealed that he recognized his identity as transgender at the tender age of three, although he lacked the specific terminology to articulate it then.
He shared that he became so adept at embodying another person and mimicking her, that the boundary between himself and the character often seemed vague.
I suppressed my emotions so thoroughly that I eventually convinced myself, I was the person others expected me to be.
During the lockdown, I chose to embrace my true identity and openly identify as transgender. Previously, I had been hiding behind a mask, but now I stand proudly in my authentic self.
As a devoted admirer, I followed Dylan and Simeon’s journey. After they placed 11th, they persisted in creating music for an additional two years beyond their initial competition.
The singing duo later called it a day and went on to pursue their solo careers in music.
Additionally, Dylan shared that there was a period when he chose not to discuss X Factor following his departure from the program, as he focused on producing the music he desired instead.

I recently posted a pair of snaps on Instagram, showcasing me flanking a banana while striking a pouty pose, all captured with my shirt off for an added touch.
In a single snapshot, the independent musician displayed his array of tattoos and a silver necklace, drawing a comparison with his appearance from three years prior.
He captioned the post: ‘Happy 3rd birthday to me (ish) I forgot to post June 1st but here I am, 3 years later, a very happy man – swipe to hear my little voice 1 day on T JOY & LOVE & KINDNESS FOR ALL PPL’
Later, he posted a video where he introduced himself as Dylan Holloway and stated that the voice was his after taking testosterone.

In another video the musician shared how impressed he was with his vocal change over the three years and shared a time-lapse video on Instagram with his followers showing the effect of the hormone treatment.
During his X Factor stint, Dylan came out as bisexual in an interview with The Sun at the time.
He told the publication: ‘If I go out and guys come up to me they look really confused when I say I’ve got a girlfriend.
As someone who has always felt different, I find myself in a peculiar situation where my identity seems to baffle those around me. Growing up, I never quite fit into the traditional gender roles or expectations that society imposed upon me. I’ve been labeled as gay by the girls, but the guys seem convinced that I’m straight. The truth is, I have always found myself drawn to both boys and girls.
Originally, I had a boyfriend but later found myself with a girlfriend, which was quite amusing. There was a girl I knew from our town whom I often spent time with, and then one day, I experienced an unusual change and thought to myself, “I find myself attracted to her as well.”
