First trailer for Sam Claflin’s new horror movie Bagman

As a seasoned gamer and horror movie enthusiast with a penchant for suspenseful stories, I must say that the trailer for Bagman, featuring Sam Claflin, has piqued my interest significantly. Having survived numerous virtual nightmares in games like Silent Hill or Outlast, I can’t help but feel a sense of familiar dread when encountering the Bagman, a creature whose modus operandi seems strikingly similar to those digital terrors that kept me up at night.

Sam Claflin stars in the trailer of new horror Bagman from director Colm McCarthy.

In October, the movie will be out, featuring Daniel Claflin’s character Patrick confronting a menacing monster that poses a threat to his loved ones.

In the clip you’re watching, an unseen speaker notes that the character often referred to as ‘Bagman’ is widely recognized and appears in almost every culture.

Interestingly, there’s a remarkable consistency in his approach. It’s been suggested that he feeds on children, showing a preference for those who are kind-hearted.

“He feeds off the child’s fear and anxiety, luring them to his cave with toys or candy. And when the child is at their most terrified, he steals them away in his bag.”

Following a close call with the beast during his youth, Patrick must draw upon his personal experiences to safeguard those dear to him.

The film begins as the main character, along with his wife Antonia Thomas (from “The Good Doctor”), return to his childhood home. He starts to believe that a mysterious figure known as the Bagman might pose a threat to their son, portrayed by Caréll Vincent Rhoden.

The ensemble is completed by actors such as Steven Cree from Outlander, William Hope known for his role in Eric, and Frankie Corio who starred in Aftersun.

Enthusiasts of Claflin can look forward to watching him in a future World War II drama, titled “Perdition“, which is scheduled to begin filming towards the end of this year.

The film showcases the actor from The Hunger Games as an American solider, who was the lone survivor of a POW camp execution in Belgium during 1944.

In the stories of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Asteroid City, Rupert Friend portrays an adversary opposite Claflin – a relentless Nazi hunter, given the mission to track down the main character.

Bagman will be released in October. An exact release date is TBA.
