Michelle Keegan is filming the upcoming Netflix series, The Woods, with Tom Bateman. The show centers around a decades-old murder case that the two actors are investigating.
After the hit series Fool Me Once, Harlan Coben is partnering with Keegan again to adapt his popular 2007 thriller, which the Chicago Sun-Times called “gripping.” (as noted by Amazon)
Soon coming to Netflix, The Woods stars James Buckley (known from The Inbetweeners) and features Bateman as Paul ‘Cope’ Copeland. He reconnects with his former partner, Lucy Silverfield, played by Keegan, to investigate a deeply personal case.

Photos published by Digital Spy show Emilia Clarke on set filming the show, wearing a red and white tweed jacket, flared jeans, and a white t-shirt.
Lucy, played by Keegan, was on a phone call while getting into her car. Photos from the set show her character seemingly involved in a nighttime car crash stunt.
After a car crashed into a house’s fence, Buckley was seen on set playing his role, looking upset as he opened the car door.

Filming for the upcoming thriller began last month, featuring Keegan, Bateman, and Buckley alongside a talented ensemble cast that includes Mandeep Dhillon, Pearce Quigley, Rade Sherbedgia, Shannon Watson, Amelia Eve, Pamela Nomvete, and Kerry Howard.
Netflix’s newest Harlan Coben adaptation, The Woods, follows Cope as he begins to believe his sister, presumed dead for twenty years, might actually be alive.
Twenty years ago, Paul Copeland’s sister, Camille, disappeared while at summer camp, deeply affecting his family. Now a successful lawyer and single father to a ten-year-old daughter named Cami, Paul seems to have moved on with his life.

However, the discovery of a man’s body – twenty years after Camille’s supposed murder – leads Cope to believe his sister might still be alive.
Driven to find out what really happened, Cope reconnects with his former love, Lucy Silverfield, and they start investigating. Their search reveals a long history of deception, hidden truths, and family secrets that could ruin Cope’s life.
The Woods is set to stream on Netflix. Fool Me Once is available on the streamer now.
