Final Fantasy 14 Reveals Monster Hunter Wilds Crossover Rewards

On September 19th, Final Fantasy 14 showed off rewards players can earn in an upcoming crossover event with Monster Hunter Wilds. These rewards include a new mount, collectible minions, and cosmetic items to change your character’s appearance. The Final Fantasy 14 event is expected to start in early October, likely with the release of Patch 7.35.

At Gamescom’s opening event in August, Capcom and Square Enix revealed a new collaboration between *Final Fantasy 14* and *Monster Hunter Wilds*. This isn’t the first time these two franchises have teamed up – *Final Fantasy 14* previously featured a crossover with *Monster Hunter World* during its *Stormblood* expansion. This new collaboration will challenge players in *Final Fantasy 14* to battle Guardian Arkveld in an eight-player trial called “The Windward Wilds,” which will have both Normal and Extreme difficulty options.

Final Fantasy 14 x Monster Hunter Wilds Crossover Event Rewards (as of September 19, 2025)

  • Hope Armor Set
  • Guardian Arkveld (G Veldian) Weapons
  • Seikret Mount
  • Seikret Hatchling and Scoutfly Minions
  • Campsite Outdoor Furnishings

With players gearing up to battle the robotic Omega Planetes in *Monster Hunter Wilds* in late September, *Final Fantasy 14* revealed the rewards for their crossover event on the Lodestone. Players will be able to earn the Hope armor set from *Monster Hunter Wilds* as glamour gear in *Final Fantasy 14*, including a unique cap for Viera characters. Weapons inspired by the G Veldian sets in *Monster Hunter Wilds* are a major prize, though it’s currently unknown if they’ll be purely for show or usable in challenging content. In addition to a Seikret mount and Seikret Hatchling minion, players can also collect a Scoutfly minion and campsite-themed outdoor furnishings. Square Enix has hinted at more rewards, but details haven’t been released yet.

The last crossover event between *Monster Hunter World* and *Final Fantasy 14* featured a Rathalos mount, obtainable through a challenging trial or by collecting Rathalos scales. Similar to that event, the upcoming collaboration with *Monster Hunter Wilds* will be a lasting addition to *Final Fantasy 14*. This means players can fight the Guardian Arkveld and earn all the available rewards whenever they choose, at their own speed.

The collaboration between *Monster Hunter Wilds* and *Final Fantasy 14* starts in early October, probably with the release of Patch 7.35. This *Final Fantasy 14* update will also add new quests for the Yok Huy crafting society and continue the popular Hildibrand questline. Players are eager to see what exciting content this *Monster Hunter Wilds* collaboration will bring.
