Farrah Abraham’s daughter Sophia, 17, shocks with goth prom look after getting tattoos and vampire fangs

Farrah Abraham’s daughter, Sophia, recently attended prom wearing a rather unusual outfit.

For her prom, the 17-year-old chose a striking all-black outfit inspired by gothic glam style. She wore a dress combining lace and leather, paired with bold black eyeliner and a very pale complexion.

She looked very different from her mother, Farrah, a reality TV star who was wearing a tight white dress covered in sparkling crystals and featuring a low-cut top.

As a lifestyle expert, I’m always fascinated by how young people express themselves! Recently, I saw a video of a homeschooled teen sharing her unique style – she actually had permanent vampire fangs installed by a dentist in Vegas last year. It’s definitely a bold choice, and a testament to how comfortable she is with her individuality.

She also recently got a matching neck tattoo with mom Farrah while the pair were in Egypt together.  

Sophia has grown up with a very public life, starting when her mother, Farrah, gave birth to her on the MTV show 16 & Pregnant. They continued to share their lives on the spin-off series, Teen Mom, for the next nine years.

I’ve been a huge fan of Sophia’s journey on MTV for years, and it’s been amazing watching her grow up. Honestly, it’s a little shocking to look back at old episodes and see how much she’s changed since she was a kid! It’s wild to see how quickly time flies and how much people can transform.

One person commented, hoping she’ll stop painting her face like a member of the band KISS, calling it embarrassing.

‘Yeesh what in the corpse bride theme is going on here!?’ wrote another. 

Someone wondered if KISS was touring anywhere and expressed hope that a particular person would stop being a fan, calling it a strange or undesirable interest.

But many other fans applauded Sophia for being herself and sharing her creative side.

‘Absolutely gorgeous!!! I wish I would have dressed like this for prom!’ gushed one fan.

Sophia shared a heartfelt Instagram post remembering her prom night and expressing gratitude to her mother, Farrah, for all her support.

‘Thank you so much mother for making this prom such an amazing, fun experience,’ she wrote. 

I’m incredibly thankful for my wonderful friends who made last night so much fun and truly unforgettable. I really enjoyed myself, but as someone who was homeschooled, I guess I expected prom to be a bit more than just observing others and dancing.

Farrah previously sparked outrage after allowing Sophia to have her septum pierced at age 13.

Since then, Sophia got tattoos of bats on her lower stomach, and also a tattoo on the back of her neck – a design Farrah also chose.

Last year, she even had two of her teeth permanently fashioned into vampire fangs.

Farrah has publicly defended her parenting style multiple times over the years.

She previously told In Touch that she loves and fully supports her daughter, Sophia, and her choices, and would never criticize her for who she wants to be.

People who criticize parents should understand that some childhood phases are temporary, and others aren’t. It’s all part of growing up – just like my old belly button piercing, which I don’t have anymore, shows.

‘I have all the compassion for her as I wish I had as a teen.’ 

In 2009, while filming MTV’s 16 & Pregnant, Farrah gave birth just one month after Sophia’s father, Derek, tragically died in a car accident.

After shooting to fame on the MTV series, Farrah then joined the show’s spin-off Teen Mom.

She appeared on Teen Mom for seven seasons before being let go after deciding to work in the adult film industry.

In 2013, she appeared in the commercial sex tape, Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.

Following the widely publicized sex tape, Farrah continued to work in the adult entertainment industry, performing at strip clubs and selling sex toys molded from her body.

She later found success as a popular content creator on OnlyFans, and has stated that the platform has earned her millions of dollars.

Beyond her time on Teen Mom, Farrah has been on several other reality TV shows, including Couples Therapy, Botched, Celebrity Big Brother, Marriage Boot Camp, and Ex on the Beach.

I’ve been following her work for years, and I was so excited when she published “My Teenage Dream Ended.” It actually hit the New York Times bestseller list, which was amazing and so well-deserved! She’s written a few other books too, all of which I’ve enjoyed.

The mom-of-one has even dabbled in acting and music. 

Most recently, Farrah made a move into politics by vowing to run for Mayor of Austin.
