The new psychological thriller, Imperfect Women, just released a short preview trailer before it comes out in March. The trailer gives another glimpse of the show’s talented cast, featuring Elisabeth Moss (known from The Handmaid’s Tale) and Kerry Washington (Scandal), who are also both executive producers.
The TV series is based on Araminta Hall’s novel of the same name, which has received praise – including being called a “stunning example” of its genre and having an “excellent twist” – from Amazon reviewers. Annie Weisman, known for her work on shows like Desperate Housewives and Based on a True Story, adapted the novel for television.
A preview of the upcoming series Imperfect Women shows three women happily toasting with drinks. The scene then changes dramatically, revealing two of the characters – played by Moss and Washington – in what looks like a police station, where they’re informed that a body has been discovered.

Brown is a talented cast featuring Kate Mara (known for Black Mirror and The Martian), Leslie Odom Jr. (Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery), Joel Kinnaman (The Killing), Jackson Kelly (The Pitt), Corey Stoll (House of Cards), and Sheryl Lee Ralph (Abbott Elementary).
