As a huge Star Wars fan, I can’t help but fervently wish that McGregor graces us with another round as Obi-Wan. To me, he’s the golden standard for the franchise.
To watch him embody this character, it’s like watching magic… the kind that really makes you believe in something bigger. He wasn’t just playing Obi-Wan. He was Obi-Wan. He is Obi-Wan. I really hope we get more Obi-Wan because this man is just Star Wars gold.
It seemed clear to me that they truly enjoy embodying their characters and value the chance to collaborate once more, possibly even more than anything else. Their Star Wars adventures are likely unique experiences they can’t fully articulate to anyone but each other. Witnessing their bond, I can merely wish for another season of Obi-Wan Kenobi or another project that allows this remarkable pair to breathe life into their characters once more.
The entire event was an enjoyable experience for Star Wars enthusiasts, yet it was also filled with deep emotion. This was due to the fact that Ewan McGregor’s star was placed thoughtfully near the late Carrie Fisher’s, a connection he humbly recognized. In many aspects, McGregor and Christensen are like this generation’s Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, and Harrison Ford.
