
Evangeline Lilly, known for her role as Hope van Dyne (the Wasp) in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has publicly criticized Marvel Studios and Disney. She used Instagram to express her concerns about the studio’s recent actions.
In a recent video, Lilly explained that she contacted Andy Park, who used to lead visual development at Marvel. Park was recently let go from Marvel Studios after working there for 16 years as part of company layoffs. Lilly said she was shocked by the news.

Lilly lamented that the talented individuals who built the Marvel Universe and created its characters are being replaced by artificial intelligence, which will utilize their existing designs to generate new versions. She expressed her deep sympathy to Park and all the affected artists.
