ETRO x Globe-Trotter’s “Arnica” Luggage Collection Upgrades the Art of Transit

Summary

  • The collaboration merges Etro’s iconic paisley jacquard with Globe-Trotter’s signature vulcanized fiberboard construction
  • The release features classic carry-on and check-in sizes alongside a modern crossbody micro case
  • A special edition infused with mythic motifs by British illustrator Tabby Booth rounds out the exclusive lineup

ETRO and Globe-Trotter are elevating modern transit with the new “Arnica” Luggage Collection.

The collection centers around Globe-Trotter’s classic, incredibly strong shell made of vulcanized fiberboard – a material built to withstand rough handling and last for years. Instead of typical materials like plastic or aluminum, this durable frame is fully covered in Etro’s distinctive “Arnica” fabric. The thick, patterned jacquard serves as the outer layer, protecting the case from damage during travel while keeping its shape and strength over the long term.

The bags come with two different looks for the hardware and trim. The “Arnica Gold” version features warm brown leather with solid brass details, while the “Arnica Black” version has a more understated look with black leather and black metal. Inside, both bags are lined with a striking, colorful striped fabric that covers the entire interior.

The product comes in several sizes to suit different needs. There are two suitcase options – a medium size (35.3x60x20cm) and a large size (52x76x26cm). A smaller, crossbody bag measuring 18.5x12x7.5cm is also available and includes a shoulder strap. Finally, a special medium-size suitcase features artwork by Tabby Booth, with detailed designs of plants and mythical creatures printed directly onto the case.

The ETRO and Globe-Trotter “Arnica” luggage collection will be available starting in mid-May at the ETRO store in Ginza and a few select retailers. You can pre-order the collection now on ETRO’s website.
