Ethereum has decided to play a little game of “up, down, maybe sideways” above $2,020. ETH is currently awkwardly hovering around $2,080, teetering on the edge of a mini meltdown.
- Ethereum kicked off a tiny recovery party above $2,020.
- ETH is flirting with the 100-hourly Simple Moving Average like it’s on a first date.
- There’s a declining channel forming with support at $2,000-basically ETH’s safety net.
- Stick below $2,080 and it might just sulk and slide again.
Resistance: ETH’s New Frenemy
After wiggling past $1,965 (thanks, Bitcoin), ETH managed to break $2,000. Cheers, but don’t get comfy.
The bulls tried their best to push it past the 50% Fib retracement level from $2,200 to $1,912, and it even had a flirtation with $2,050 before the bears gatecrashed near $2,090. Drama!
ETH is currently straddling $2,000 and the 100-hourly SMA, while a declining channel looms like an ominous reality TV cliffhanger.
If the bulls muster some energy above $2,000, ETH could attempt another flirt with $2,055, but the real drama is near $2,080-the Fib-retracement equivalent of the VIP section.

Next resistance levels read like a soap opera: $2,135, then $2,150, and if things get spicy, maybe $2,200-$2,220. Grab popcorn.
Downside: ETH’s Possible Tantrum
Fail to crack $2,050, and ETH could throw a mini hissy fit. First support: $2,000, then $1,980. If things get really dramatic, $1,910 and possibly $1,880. Main support? $1,840-basically the last chair in the room.
Technical Gossip
Hourly MACD – Gaining momentum… but in a bearish, sad sort of way.
Hourly RSI – Teetering below 50, like a kid who ate too much candy and regrets it.
Major Support Level – $1,980
Major Resistance Level – $2,080
