Emmerdale star Amy Walsh and her husband, Toby-Alexander Smith (who appears in EastEnders), have welcomed their second child.
The 38-year-old actress, known for her role as Tracy Metcalfe on the ITV soap opera, revealed on Instagram that she’s had a baby, sharing the first photo of her daughter.
She posted an adorable black and white photo of her baby daughter’s feet, after putting her in a sweet floral onesie.
Just a week ago, I was on my way to the hospital to give birth! It’s been the most wonderful and special time ever since.
Her sister, Girls Aloud star Kimberley Walsh was among the first to send a congratulatory message.
Amy and Toby-Alexander, both 34, are parents to Bonnie, born in 2022, and are expecting another child.
In September, Amy announced she’s expecting her second child on Instagram. She shared a video of her, her husband Toby, and their daughter Bonnie all removing their hands to reveal a picture of the baby’s ultrasound.
The clip featured Amy telling Bonnie that a new sibling is on the way.
Amy penned alongside the post: ‘Smith/Walsh baby 2.0 incoming 2026.’
Amy and Toby-Alexander got married in 2023 at the beautiful Talici Hill Rustic Villa in Montenegro, after dating for three years.
Amy first encountered Toby-Alexander, a star from the TV show EastEnders, at the Strictly Come Dancing audience in 2019. They began dating a year after that.
Two years later, Amy welcomed a beautiful daughter Bonnie Mae with him.
After their wedding, the couple told OK! magazine it was even better than they’d dreamed. They said the day felt incredibly special and they enjoyed every moment, and now they’re feeling completely happy and content.
Amy shared that her sister gave her a very special gift: their grandmother’s ring, which had been passed down through the family. As her ‘something borrowed’ for the wedding, her sister also let her wear a pair of £1,500 Chanel earrings.
Amy showcased a beautiful family heirloom in the magazine’s photos, and complemented her look with pearl earrings by a well-known designer, which typically sell for around £1,500 on the resale market.
She mentioned the traditional wedding gifts, explaining that she hadn’t considered the ‘something old, new, borrowed, and blue’ saying her bridesmaids had thankfully taken care of it.
My sister Kimberley gave me a ring that had belonged to our grandma, and it really reminded me of her. I wore it on my pinky finger on my wedding day, as a way to feel like my grandparents were with me, and it meant so much.
