Emma Corrin makes the most of the soaring spring weather as they step out in a sheer vest

They’ve traded their fast paced life in London for a more sedate lifestyle in coastal Margate. 

Emma Corrin returned to London and enjoyed the warmer weather on Monday afternoon.

The British actor, famous for playing Princess Diana in the Netflix series The Crown, was seen leaving the Beaumont Hotel in London’s Mayfair wearing a light, sleeveless top.

Looking relaxed in low-rise jeans and black leather shoes, 30-year-old Emma Corrin seemed cheerful during their recent outing in the city.

The actor completed their look with a stylish leather bag and dark sunglasses as they walked to a car, carrying a copy of Olivia Laing’s new novel, The Silver Book, due out in 2025.

Corrin, originally from Kent, moved to Margate in 2023 and quickly became part of the town’s vibrant community.

Listeners of the Table Manners podcast shared their affection for the town and its best spots, saying they ‘really love it’.

Curve Coffee is a fantastic spot located just outside of town, a short walk above the high street in a small square. They’re famous for their incredible Kimchi toastie – you won’t find a better one anywhere!

Margate has become a popular spot for artists and creative types, earning it the playful nickname ‘Shoreditch-On-Sea’ – a reference to the trendy, artistic neighborhood of Shoreditch in East London.

Corrin prefers to stay local and enjoy the restaurants and bars nearby, rather than going out in London.

They admitted they don’t often eat at restaurants in London. They explained that it’s much easier to do so in Margate, where everything is nearby.

I’m completely obsessed with High Dive – it’s my go-to spot! They began as a really small place down by the harbor, and they serve amazing Mexican food – think tacos, enchiladas, the works. Honestly, everything is incredible, but you HAVE to try their spicy margaritas – they’re seriously out of this world!

Corrin is currently single, having ended their relationship with Oscar-winning actor Rami Malek earlier in 2023.

The couple hasn’t spoken publicly about their split, and even though they’ve often appeared together at movie premieres, they’ve always kept their relationship very private.

In a magazine interview last May, Corrin even declined to speak about their relationship.

Malek was similarly unclear, simply calling Corrin ‘fascinating’ and once mentioning they made him a complete Thanksgiving dinner – ‘with all the fixings’ – which he found incredibly impressive.

Corrin, who publicly came out as queer and uses they/them pronouns, shared that the negative reactions to their gender identity were more intense than they expected. They noted that despite progress, society seems to be moving backward in some ways.

Corrin is currently filming the Netflix version of Pride and Prejudice, starring as Elizabeth Bennet alongside Jack Lowden, known for his role in Slow Horses, who plays Mr. Darcy.

Malek is currently starring in two new projects. He plays a CIA decoder seeking revenge in the spy drama The Amateur, and will also appear in Nuremberg, a drama focusing on the Nazi war trials, where he portrays US psychiatrist Douglas Kelley.

The film also stars Russell Crowe, Michael Shannon and One Day star Leo Woodall.
