Fans of Lily Collins are celebrating after she was chosen to play Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming biopic. The film will focus on the making of the iconic 1961 movie, Breakfast at Tiffany’s, and many have noted the striking resemblance between the two actresses. Collins, known for her role in Emily in Paris, will be swapping the Parisian streets for the glamour of 1960s New York to portray the Hollywood legend.
Directed by Blake Edwards, this movie is based on Truman Capote’s 1958 story of the same name. Audrey Hepburn plays Holly Golightly, a charming and innocent socialite, in a performance that made her a style icon and redefined the typical Hollywood leading lady.
A new movie about the making of the classic 1961 film Breakfast at Tiffany’s is in the works. It will be written by Alena Smith, the creator of Dickinson, and based on Sam Wasson’s book, Fifth Avenue, 5 AM, which offers a detailed look behind the scenes (according to Deadline).
