It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Julian LeFay, creator of the Elder Scrolls series, following his fight against cancer. Known as the lead programmer for The Elder Scrolls: Arena in 1996, LeFay recently stepped away from game development, and passed away only a week later.
It was announced that the renowned game developer had passed away, according to a statement from OnceLost Games, which is LeFay’s studio along with Elder Scrolls co-creator Ted Peterson. LeFay established this studio to produce The Wayward Realms, a contemporary RPG in the style of the classic game Daggerfall.
