Hear now, Tarnished, and once again seek the Elden Ring to fulfill your destiny! It’s time to return to the Lands Between and strive to become Elden Lord. Explore every corner of this vast world, from the deep Ainsel River to the ruins of Farum Azula, and experience a journey unlike any you’ve had before.
A new version of Elden Ring, called Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, is coming to the Nintendo Switch 2 later this year. While a specific release date hasn’t been announced yet – only sometime in 2026 – it’s a good idea to start saving up now, as the game may be quite expensive. Be prepared to spend some money if you want to challenge Malenia on the go!
Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition Doesn’t Come Cheap
Full Priced Frenzied Flame
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition will cost $79.99 when it releases. While that seems expensive for a game that came out over four years ago, this edition includes the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion. Considering that expansion is substantial – almost like a whole new game – the price actually offers good value.
The main game can take 40 to 150 hours to fully complete, and the new expansion, Shadow of the Erdtree, adds another 30 hours of gameplay. That’s a huge amount of content for the price. Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition also includes new armor and customization options for your horse, Torrent. We consider playing this to be just as exciting as getting a remastered version of Dark Souls for next-generation consoles.
Elden Ring On Switch 2 Is An Exciting Prospect
Mobile Maidenless Madness
Seriously, everyone says Elden Ring is one of the best games of all time, and I totally agree. Being able to play it on the go is a huge draw. After beating it a couple of times, I’m loving experimenting with different character builds and weapon combos. It’s the perfect way to kill time, especially while we’re all waiting for more news and leaks about that Elden Ring movie!
While $79.99 might seem pricey for a game many people already own, the Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on the Nintendo Switch 2 appears to offer excellent value with its hundreds of hours of gameplay and immersive experience. We’d appreciate a clearer release date from Bandai Namco. This edition sounds like a fantastic way to pass the time until the Elden Ring movie comes out.
