Elden Ring Update Gives Solo Players What They’ve Been Asking for

Nightreign” has been announced, and it’s great news for those playing alone. FromSoftware revealed this week that the upcoming update will enhance the experience of solo players, improving their odds of reaching Night 3 and successfully defeating the Nightlord they are pursuing. This adjustment will increase the amount of runes a solo player receives from each run, ensuring that time spent on objectives is not wasted, but most significantly, solo players will be given an additional chance to revive after defeat during a single run.

The update for Elden Ring Nightreign hasn’t been released yet, but it’s set to drop next week. We’ve already had a sneak peek of what’s to come, and FromSoftware shared some details about the update on their Twitter account based on feedback from players who tested during the technical phase and at launch. They mentioned that a new feature called “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat” will be implemented in single-player mode, along with an increase in rune rewards for solo players as well.

In our upcoming update, these enhancements for single-player adventures are being implemented:

1. A new effect called “Revive after Defeat” will be introduced in solo mode. This means that once per night boss battle, you’ll have the chance to come back to life.
2. The number of runes you earn will be boosted.

We appreciate your continued support!

While Elden Ring Nightreign primarily focuses on multiplayer gameplay, it’s essential to acknowledge that numerous Elden Ring players prefer to play alone as well. Considering this, it’s only logical to accommodate the needs of solo players to some extent. From personal experience, playing solo can be incredibly challenging since one mistake during a series of boss battles can lead to defeat. Although beating such runs isn’t impossible, the fact that players feel compelled to share their victories suggests that it’s no walk in the park.

Apart from individual buffs, we’ll also tackle the identified bugs in the upcoming update. During the review process and post-launch, not many bugs were noticeable in Nightreign, but the ones that were present caused significant problems. Some players with newer graphics cards have faced playability issues due to compatibility problems that FromSoftware is currently investigating.

If you’re determined to keep playing Elden Ring Nightreign solo until the new update arrives, we’ve got an ideal character class for that experience ready for you!
