Elden Ring player beats every boss in the game without attacking
A highly committed, likely exhausted Elden Ring gamer successfully defeated every one of the 207 bosses, not once resorting to an offensive move.
Elden Ring is famously challenging, packed with tests that will tax both your gaming abilities and your endurance. Some of its bosses, like Malenia, have earned a reputation for being incredibly tough, often leaving even seasoned Soulslike gamers at their wits’ end.
While certain players might have found it challenging to complete the game altogether, others have chosen to add an extra layer of difficulty by triumphing without receiving a single hit.
Currently, a player may have accomplished an incredibly challenging task, having vanquished each boss without ever launching an assault.
Elden Ring player defeats all 207 bosses using nothing but dodges
Skumnut, a renowned Elden Ring streamer and YouTuber, undertook the challenge of completing a run where every boss was faced without any shortcuts, aiming for maximum time consumption. To make it more challenging, he opted to discard his sword and prohibited himself from utilizing Summons.
Rather than inflicting direct harm on the bosses, he managed to injure them indirectly by skillfully dodging, a feat made possible with the Briar Set armor. This protective gear is adorned with thorns that cause a minor wound whenever they brush against an adversary during a dodge maneuver.
In addition, he employed the explosion-causing Rupture Crystal Tear. This move dealt extra damage upon detonating right in front of the bosses, yet it was limited to a single use during each battle.
He compiled a massive YouTube video detailing every fight from the game, and given the scope, it’s no surprise that it required an enormous amount of time to complete each battle. Interestingly, even defeating the relatively simple Putrid Avatar, one of the early bosses, took approximately 30 minutes.
Despite these challenges, he miraculously finished the run and vanquished the Elden Beast in less than 57 hours, a pace quicker than numerous players who utilized all skills. The feat is even more astounding when you take into account that it encompassed every DLC boss as well.
More than three years have passed since the initial release of Elden Ring, and it’s amazing to see that gamers continue to discover innovative ways to test their skills. However, I must caution you, this particular method is best left for in-game exploration rather than trying it out in real life.
