Elden Ring Officially Returns With Huge New Release On April 30

As a huge fan, I’ve been completely obsessed with Elden Ring – it’s easily one of the best open-world fantasy games ever! Everyone’s been wondering what FromSoftware has planned after the Tarnished Edition comes out this year. Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree definitely surprised us all by doing things a little differently, so honestly, I have no idea what the next big Elden Ring game will be like – or even if they’ll make one! It’s all very exciting, though.

The Switch 2 version of the Tarnished Edition was delayed earlier this year, and there haven’t been any announcements about new Nightreign DLC like The Forsaken Hollows. This has led fans to wonder if a sequel to Elden Ring is even planned. However, there is a significant new Elden Ring release coming on April 30th (according to Future Press), which should excite fans.

New Elden Ring Release Finally Drops On April 30

The much-awaited Elden Ring Nightreign Official Strategy Guide from Future Press will arrive on Thursday, April 30, 2026, after a significant delay. Initially scheduled for February 27th, the guide’s release was pushed back to late April so Future Press could include details about the Forsaken Hollows DLC. They explained the delay with this statement:

Hey everyone, just wanted to apologize for the wait on the Elden Ring Nightreign guide! We originally aimed to cover the game right when it launched, but we quickly realized that would mean the guide would be outdated super fast. We really wanted to create something that you guys could use and enjoy for years, so we decided to go back and completely overhaul it. We’ve been working non-stop for months, adding tons of extra content and cool bonus features to make it the best guide possible!

The final product is a comprehensive 584-page book—significantly larger than initially expected—covering everything in the Forsaken Hollows DLC. It includes strategies for 120 bosses, complete shop listings, an Expedition planning tool, a variety of unique character builds, and a full record of all in-game dialogue and lore.

Although the official Future Press website hasn’t been updated, Amazon currently lists the release date as April 30th and is taking pre-orders for approximately $40.

Elden Ring Nightreign Guide Is Absolutely Huge

As a huge fan of Elden Ring, I’ve always been impressed with Future Press’s guides, and their Nightreign guide is something I’ve been really looking forward to. I know the delay is a bit of a bummer – a guide like that would be so helpful right now! – but honestly, hearing it’s going to be nearly 600 pages long makes it totally worth waiting for. It sounds like it’s going to be incredibly comprehensive!

The official strategy guide for Nightreign will be a comprehensive resource, covering everything from items and weapons to strategies for defeating all enemies and bosses. Given that Nightreign is a challenging game with a lot of pressure, this guide will be a helpful tool for players, and it’s expected to be released later this month.
