Elden Ring Nightreign’s latest update is here to save you from frame drops, buggy bosses, and more
In games like Elden Ring Nightreign where speed and agility play a significant role, striking a balance is crucial to prevent players from getting frustrated enough to hurl their controllers against a wall. While there have been instances of imbalance within the game earlier, this was primarily due to some bugs. However, as of today, you can download an update for this roguelike that addresses these issues and brings about necessary adjustments.
Initially, we’ve made significant improvements for Libra, Creature of Night, and Adel, Baron of the Night. Earlier issues such as Libra repeatedly using the same attack, which could lead to 72 consecutive instances in extreme cases, have been addressed. Additionally, a bug that caused the game to run sluggishly during battles against Adel has been resolved, enhancing the overall game performance.
A humorous quirk I’ve encountered is when the “Locate the Demonic Merchant in Limveld” task wouldn’t have the merchant appearing at all. Thankfully, this problem has been resolved now. It’s amusing to think about being left waiting by a Demon Merchant while embarking on your adventure. If only it were the start of a brooding, melancholic fan fiction!
As a bow enthusiast, I must admit that this recent update has brought a bit of a challenge. Previously, there was a bug that boosted the power of physical attacks on bows when they had passive magic effects like lightning or holy added to them. This glitch has been addressed now, and while it may seem minor, it’s part of a larger plan for future duo gameplay. For more details about other minor fixes, you can check out the official patch notes.
