Elden Ring Nightreign Update Makes Libra Less Annoying
Today, there’s a fresh round of updates for Elden Ring: Nightreign, and it seems one specific boss is in the crosshairs – Libra, the Creature of Night, also known as the “Equilibrious Beast.” This goat-like adversary is infamous for its Madness-inducing assaults and agile movements, making it difficult for even swift Nightfarers to keep up during their encounters. While Libra will continue with its acrobatic antics post-update, players can breathe a sigh of relief as some of its most annoying quirks have been addressed.
The improvement in Libra’s behavior during boss fights, as seen in many player experiences since launch, is likely due to the correction of an issue mentioned in the patch notes, where Libra would repeat certain actions excessively. Players have reported instances of Libra getting stuck in a loop of jumping around the arena or becoming immobile after becoming enraged. This recent Nightreign update should resolve both these issues.
In regular adventures, you may come across Libra, who functions as a merchant, but this encounter is dependent on the game’s cooperation. His presence is crucial for a specific aspect of the Guardian’s Remembrance questline. However, there were instances where Libra wouldn’t appear at all in the past. Fortunately, an update has been implemented to address this issue, ensuring that Libra appears consistently, whether in Night 3 battles or outside them.

In the initial update for Elden Ring Nightreign, the modifications were rather mysterious since it was a day-one patch. However, the subsequent update shifted its focus towards balance adjustments. As the demand for such changes subsides and players become more proficient with their Nightfarers, we can anticipate updates like today’s to address bugs more regularly, until players uncover some new exploits that require rectification.
