Elden Ring Nightreign: How To Unlock Evergaols
In this walkthrough, we’ll cover the steps to open Evergaols in Elden Ring’s Nightreign expansion, allowing you to challenge more formidable bosses.
In Elden Ring, there was an abundance of hidden gems and challenges waiting to be discovered around every turn. You could venture into caves, assault castles, and sweep through camps, all while uncovering peculiar circular arenas marked on your map. Upon approaching these arenas and engaging with them, a formidable boss would materialize, initiating an incredibly tough battle. These arenas, known as Evergoals, were a testament to the player’s might, and they have returned in Nightreign, ready to challenge you once more.
In Elden Ring’s Nightreign, Evergaols function similarly to their counterparts in the original game. They serve as a means to summon tough bosses that, when defeated, grant runes for character advancement. Unlike the original, however, unlocking Evergaols in Nightreign isn’t as straightforward. Instead of just interacting with them, you must locate and use a rare item to activate them.
If you’re aiming to advance rapidly in Elden Ring: Nightreign, the Evergaols are an excellent method for achieving that goal. However, if you’re unsure about how to access them, we can certainly provide some assistance! This guide will walk you through the process of unlocking Evergaols in Elden Ring: Nightreign.
How To Unlock Evergaols in Elden Ring Nightreign
To open any of the Evergaols in Elden Ring Nightreign, you’ll need a Stonesword Key. You can get this key by interacting with a peculiar statue that you will find at one end when you get close.
The issue lies in the scarcity of these keys. Initially, we found them infrequently, perhaps just a few instances during our early trials. But as we continued with these trials, we’ve managed to identify a place where they appear regularly.
In our gaming experience, we’ve often come across the Stonesword Key in vast, cathedral-like locations within the game. These areas are known for housing challenging boss fights, such as the colossal Golem and occasionally the Oracle Envoys. Defeat the boss you encounter, then make your way to a towering pedestal at the end of the area. There’s a chest hidden behind this pedestal that contains the Stonesword Key. Once obtained, proceed to an Evergaol, interact with the statue there to unlock and initiate the boss fight.
