Elden Ring legend Let Me Solo Her finally played Bloodborne, and came across new levels of pain: ‘This boss took me more tries than any previous boss’
As a dedicated fan, I’ve been engrossed in the Elden Ring world for a decade, vanquishing Melania more than 2000 times and overcoming the final boss, Promised Consort Radahn, the Erdtree’s legendary adversary. Now, it’s time to embark on a new challenge: Bloodborne. Facing the Orphan of Kos for the first time is an intimidating task, but I am ready to take it on!
In a video (via IGN), Let Me Solo Her remarks, “At last, I encountered the Child of Kos.” He explained, “Each Souls game [or expansion] usually features a final boss who seems incredibly powerful.” For Elden Ring, it was Radahn, the Promised Consort; for Dark Souls 3, it was Slave Knight Gael; and for Dark Souls 1, it was Manus, Father of the Abyss. In Bloodborne, the Orphan of Kos served as that formidable boss.
Elden Ring Ranni Quest: Pursue the Witch (Follow the Witch can be rephrased as “Seek out the Witch” or “Track down the Witch”)
Find the Warrior Woman (Warrior woman can be rephrased as “Locate the Female Warrior” or “Search for the Warrior Lady”)
Uncover Mt. Gelmir (Get Mt. Gelmir can be rephrased as “Discover Mt. Gelmir” or “Unveil the Secrets of Mt. Gelmir”)
The final major boss from Elden Ring that we faced was the enigmatic Consort Radahn. Initially, many players found him almost impossible due to his peculiar hitboxes and aggressive attacks. However, it didn’t take long for the Elden Ring community to figure out strategies to defeat him, often using nothing more than a bottle of perfume or landing a single hit that dealt an astounding 143,411 points of damage at once. It took only a few tries for Let Me Solo Her to conquer him, which makes his past struggles with the Orphan of Kos even more daunting.
This boss proved to be more challenging than any other I’ve encountered in my past battles. In fact, I had to delve into Chalice Dungeons during live streaming sessions, specifically to gather Blood Vials and ammunition, simply to keep up with them.” Continuing on, Let Me Solo Her admitted, “Without a doubt, this boss presents the greatest difficulty for me in Bloodborne.
After each comment, you’ll find a collection of instances where Let Me Solo Her encountered trouble with Orphan of Kos. The sensation of despair and loneliness that arises from continuously dying at the hands of a FromSoft boss is truly unique. It seems like no matter how low I get, there’s always room for going even lower. The way Let Me Solo Her motivates himself or simply begs “stay out of my sight” as Kos repeatedly jumps on him really strikes a chord with me, while also serving as a gentle warning against starting another Bloodborne playthrough.
In the end, Orphan of Kos met its demise and the horror came to an end, according to Let Me Solo Her. It seems that the reason this game was consistently popular on Twitter could be attributed to fans’ ongoing wish for a remastered edition. Even though it may become increasingly unlikely that we’ll see a remaster or PC port in the future, I thoroughly enjoyed Bloodborne.
It seems reasonable that, given the situation, Let Me Solo Her might decide to purchase a Switch 2 in anticipation of playing Duskbloods – the game considered to be the spiritual successor to Bloodborne – once it’s released in 2026.
