They just dropped Gerd Müller and Gianfranco Zola into the game as new Legends – totally out of the blue! FIFAe World Cup 2026 Challenger Series Campaign

KONAMI has launched the first stage of qualifying for the FIFAe World Cup 2026 within eFootball 2026. This connects the game to the official FIFAe competitive scene, creating a clear route for players to compete in the Challenger Series.

From February 12th to February 26th, 2026, players can join a special in-game event called the FIFAe Challenger Series. Completing objectives during this event will earn you rewards like Random Booster Tokens, Random Skill Tokens, Position Tokens, and 20,000 EXP – but won’t give you any coins.

Gerd Müller is widely considered one of the most efficient goalscorers ever, a true ‘fox in the box.’ He was exceptional at being in the right place at the right time and finishing chances with deadly accuracy.
