eFootball 2026 continues to release special packs, and the newest one, the Epic National Attackers pack, is focused on powerful forwards. It includes iconic players like Ferenc Puskás, Ruud van Nistelrooy, and Carlos Tevez, making it perfect for players looking to strengthen their attack with top strikers.
However, as usual, simply listing the names isn’t enough. Given the way people are currently playing the game, it’s important to see if this particular group actually performs well in matches, or if they’re just impressive on paper.
eFootball 2026 Epic Lamine Yamal’s Choice Players
Ferenc Puskás
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Deep Lying Forward
- Showtime Skill: Blitz Curler and Low Screamer
As a fan, I’m really impressed with this second Puskás card! You can definitely see a big step up from his original World Classics version. Looking at the stats, he seems really well-rounded and powerful, especially when it comes to shooting, positioning, and just being a threat going forward.
It seems odd that the ‘Show Time’ combo was given to this card, as it doesn’t really benefit from the ‘Blitz Curler’ ability – it’s a confusing choice, similar to what happened with Rummenigge. The ‘Low Screamer’ ability is good, though, so that’s a positive.
Okay, so this version of the tactic is way different than his older stuff. He’s really focusing on a deep-lying forward, and honestly, it should work. He’s got the passing range to pull it off, and yeah, he’s actually pretty good at connecting the midfield to the attack for a striker. It’s a nice change of pace.
He’s not a natural runner with the ball like some players in that position. While he can dribble if you specifically build his skills around it, doing so means compromising in other areas, making it a difficult trade-off. Overall though, he’s a very reliable striker and one of the best at finishing plays in the game.

Ruud van Nistelrooy

- Showtime Skill: Phenomenal Finishing and Bullet Header
This is definitely the best Ruud card released so far. The ‘Show Time’ ability clearly shows this card is designed for consistently finishing scoring opportunities. Combining ‘Bullet Header’ with ‘Phenomenal Finishing’ is a powerful combination, particularly for a player of his size and strength.
He consistently delivers strong performances both running and passing, and this latest card is expected to be his best yet, supported by impressive stats. He’s exceptionally aware on offense, meaning he’ll consistently be in the best position to make plays inside the opponent’s box.
This player excels at shooting, powerful kicks, and heading the ball. While his dribbling is good, around the 90s mark, he might still feel a little awkward with the ball sometimes – that’s typical for taller strikers.
Honestly, what I love most about this player is how strong and physical he is. He’s really good at holding off defenders, winning headers, and just generally being a threat in the box. Okay, maybe a ‘Fox in the Box’ style isn’t everyone’s favorite, but if you build your team to get him the ball, he’ll absolutely finish those chances for you. He’s a game-changer when it comes to putting the ball in the net!

Carlos Tevez
- Position: CF
- Playing Style: Goal Poacher
- Showtime Skill: Momentum Dribbling and Will Power
Tevez is a powerful and energetic forward who’s always moving on the field. He’s immediately noticeable for his incredible speed and quick bursts, making him a threat with every run.
This card is a significant improvement over his previous 30th anniversary card. Switching from a Deep Lying Forward to a Goal Poacher type is a great fit for his playing style and stats. While his dribbling stats might be in the low 90s, his physical build more than makes up for it.
The new Momentum Dribbling feature lets him easily move past opponents, and I think it’s a fantastic addition for players with his body type. He’s also surprisingly strong for his size, making it difficult for defenders to knock him off the ball.
No single stat is overwhelmingly powerful, but all his attributes work well together. He’s a little weaker in the air, but isn’t really meant to be the target of crosses anyway.

All three Epic cards in this pack are good, but they don’t quite reach the highest level of quality. It’s still worth using your in-game currency on this pack, but the cards could be even better if their Show Time abilities and stats were optimized.
