The 2009 thriller Exam, featuring familiar faces from British soap operas, is now available on a new UK streaming service. The cast includes Colin Salmon, known for his role as George Knight in EastEnders, and Jimi Mistry, who previously appeared in both EastEnders and Coronation Street.
Starring Gemma Chan from Marvel and Nathalie Cox, known for her roles in British TV shows like EastEnders and Waterloo Road, Exam was directed and written by Stuart Hazeldine. The film earned Hazeldine a BAFTA nomination for his outstanding first feature film.
The good news is that the movie is now streaming on Prime Video in the UK.
Eight people are competing for a fantastic job at a powerful, secretive company. As part of the hiring process, they’re asked to take an exam. But this isn’t a typical test – the consequences of failure are deadly.
Digital Spy gave the show four stars, describing it as “gripping” and noting that it makes you think about the world beyond the setting of the exam room.

The review found that while the film Exam had the potential to become a predictable and overly gruesome horror movie like Saw, it ultimately delivers smart and well-made entertainment.
Empire magazine also gave the film four stars, calling it a contemporary moral story disguised as a stylish science fiction thriller. Though the setting is simple, the film aims high.
The website Little White Lies also praised Exam, noting its fast-paced editing and stylish visuals keep you on the edge of your seat despite some lengthy dialogue, right until the very end.
However, not all reviews were positive. The Guardian gave the work only two out of five stars, calling its ending disappointing and rambling.
For fans of thrillers, Prime Video announced the release date for the new Jack Ryan movie, and a trailer is already available to watch.
The new series, Jack Ryan: Ghost War, continues the story from the popular show starring John Krasinski and will be available on May 20th.
The actor will be back on screen with familiar faces like Wendell Pierce, Michael Kelly, and Betty Gabriel, and will be joined by newcomers Sienna Miller, Mckenna Bridger, Max Beesley, Douglas Hodge, and JJ Feild.
