Drake is aiming for the top spot on next week’s Billboard 200 chart with the release of three new projects: ICEMAN, MAID OF HONOUR, and HABIBTI.

Early estimates from HITS Daily Double suggest the new album, ICEMAN – the main event of a three-part series – will likely sell between 480,000 and 520,000 equivalent album units in its first week. The two accompanying albums, MAID OF HONOUR and HABIBTI, are predicted to sell between 115,000 and 135,000 units and 110,000 and 130,000 units, respectively.

The release wasn’t just a hit – it completely dominated the music charts. Drake’s album, ICEMAN, racked up an incredible 140 million streams on Spotify in its first day, making it one of the biggest debuts ever. Within just two days, Drake became Spotify’s most-streamed artist of 2026, with ICEMAN claiming the top album spot and “Make Them Cry” becoming the most-streamed song in a single day. Similar success was seen on Apple Music and Amazon Music as well.

The cover of Drake’s album, ICEMAN, shows him wearing a sparkly glove as a tribute to Michael Jackson, acknowledging their current tie for the most No. 1 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. With a strong start to album sales, Drake is poised to surpass Jackson’s record. This week, Drake also made history by becoming the artist with the most albums to remain on the Billboard 200 for a decade, exceeding Jackson’s Thriller with three of his own albums – Take Care, Nothing Was the Same, and Views.
