Dr. Nima Rousseau has to be Alex’s dad in Snowpiercer
As a seasoned gamer with a knack for unraveling intricate storylines, I can’t help but feel a sense of excitement and anticipation when it comes to Snowpiercer Season 4. The introduction of Dr. Nima Rousseau has certainly added an interesting layer to the narrative, but there’s more to him than meets the eye.
It’s common knowledge that television shows don’t simply introduce characters for no particular reason. The character of Dr. Nima Rousseau was introduced in Season 4 to provide the show Snowpiercer with its narrative, but there must be another motivating factor behind her introduction as well.
Nima isn’t your typical chemist; he’s an old acquaintance of Melanie’s from days gone by. It appears they were not just friends but may have had a closer relationship. Moreover, there seems to be a connection between Nima and Alex Cavill.
We know nothing about Alex’s dad in Snowpiercer
So far, the series hasn’t provided any information about Alex’s father. It’s reasonable to assume he exists, given that Melanie isn’t a mythical figure like the Virgin Mary. The question that lingers is who exactly he is.
It’s been long assumed by most of us that he had passed away. His absence from the scene, coupled with the fact that he was meant to be traveling with Melanie’s parents, suggests this could have happened before the Big Freeze. Notably, there was no mention at all about her father in the events that followed.
Could it be that Nima was seized by soldiers right on the brink of the Big Freeze, which is why Melanie felt compelled to abandon her child with her family, assuming they and Alex would find safety aboard the Snowpiercer?
Nima and Alex have a chance of meeting in Snowpiercer Season 4
Alex chose to embark on a journey aboard the train known as Big Alice, bound for Snowpiercer. This isn’t about retrieving Liana; Alex has her personal motivations. Being a scientist at heart, she is eager to collect data that can only be obtained by boarding the train.
It seems evident that this situation might be more significant for the story, as it brings Alex and Nima close enough to encounter each other. Won’t it be intriguing if one day we see Alex on Snowpiercer or Nima on Big Alice? Such an event would provide them with a chance to meet, potentially allowing Alex to reunite with her father, and giving Nima an added motivation to challenge Admiral Milius.
In a simpler manner, there are similarities between Nima’s bond with Milius and Alex’s bond with Wilford. Both appear deeply indebted to those in power, yet they lack the violent disposition that is often associated with their leaders. By joining forces, Nima might gain enough strength to seize control and successfully execute his plan to restore Earth’s livability, rather than allowing Milius’ unknown plans to prevail.
