A new heist thriller called Fuze, featuring Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Gugu Mbatha-Row, and Theo James, centers around thieves who use the distraction of a police operation to defuse a World War II bomb to pull off their heist.
Directed by David Mackenzie, known for films like Hell or High Water and Outlaw King, Fuze will be released in UK cinemas on April 3rd. The film, written by Bob Hopkins, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival last year.
Filmed throughout London, this Sky Original movie centers on a group of military specialists, headed by Will, played by Taylor-Johnson, who are tasked with finding and disarming a bomb found in the heart of the city.

Gugu Mbatha-Raw portrays Police Chief Zuzana Greenfield, and James plays Karalis, a diamond specialist who is using the evacuation as cover for a planned robbery.
As emergency services are overwhelmed and a bomb is about to detonate, a group attempts a daring jewel heist, using the chaos as cover, according to the story’s description.

The trailer hints at a large-scale robbery unfolding in the empty city, as warned by Greenfield. It also shows flashbacks of Karalis’s connections to an international criminal group and how the plan for the heist began.
The film also features Saffron Hocking from Top Boy and Sam Worthington, known for his role in Avatar, playing members of Karalis’ team. Supporting cast members include Honor Swinton Byrne (The Souvenir), Alexander Arnold (Skins), and Elham Ehsas (Homeland).

Mackenzie’s new thriller, praised at the Toronto International Film Festival, is getting good reviews. Currently, 83% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes recommend it, based on 24 reviews, and the film keeps audiences guessing with its many surprising characters.
Reviewers are loving the thrilling and exciting movie, with The Film Stage describing it as something you just can’t stop enjoying, like a really addictive candy bar.
Critics have been positive about Fuze. Awards Buzz called it a thrilling, fast-paced ride, and TheWrap highlighted its well-developed characters as a strong complement to the plot’s surprises.
