Square Enix is launching a new Final Fantasy mobile game, DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY, on March 23, 2026. You can now pre-register! The game was originally announced in February 2025, and a limited beta test was available in November 2025.
DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY is set in a modern Tokyo setting with story and interactions
DISSIDIA DUELLUM FINAL FANTASY features team-based battles where two groups of three players fight each other while also battling computer-controlled enemies. The goal is to be the first team to defeat the main boss. The game is designed with simple controls, and it also includes a compelling story to experience.
This installment of the series is set in present-day Tokyo, a new setting for the franchise. Beyond the action-packed battles, the game emphasizes character development through engaging story scenes and conversations presented in a chat-like format. Fans can expect to see iconic Final Fantasy heroes such as Cloud, Lightning, and the Warrior of Light return.
Characters fall into distinct roles like close-combat fighters, long-range attackers, quick and nimble units, or support specialists. You can personalize your character’s skills, equipment, and overall playstyle to suit your preferred battle approach.
