Disney+’s #1 Action Thriller Series Keeps Getting Better

Disney+ has finally created a hit with its new action-packed series. While Disney+ has a huge collection of movies and shows, it’s been difficult for them to attract viewers away from popular streaming services like Netflix and Amazon Prime Video. But this latest series seems to be changing that, and drawing people to the platform.

The upcoming “Daredevil: Born Again” is generating a lot of excitement within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, particularly because recent installments in the Multiverse Saga haven’t resonated with fans as well as previous films that consistently earned over a billion dollars for Marvel Studios throughout the 2010s.

Daredevil: Born Again Season 2 Is A Huge Improvement Over Season 1

The first season of Daredevil: Born Again marked a significant return for Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, the season wasn’t without its challenges, most prominently a mid-production change in showrunners.

Thankfully, Dario Scardapane has remained with the show, and his consistent direction throughout season 2 has given it a much more unified feel. The action sequences are also significantly improved, with more complex choreography and better execution. Plus, the story is expanding nicely, giving several characters beyond the main ones a chance to develop.

Small details really make a difference in how people experience the show, and season 2 is doing a fantastic job with them so far. Critics have been especially impressed with the later episodes, which suggests the rest of the season will be just as good.

Daredevil: Born Again Feels Like The Original Netflix Series Has Finally Landed In The MCU

Although Matt Murdock (Daredevil) briefly interacted with Kamala Khan’s father in Daredevil: Born Again season one, most of the show’s connections to the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe happened through other appearances. Matt showed up in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law and Spider-Man: No Way Home, while Kingpin appeared in Hawkeye and Echo.

While seeing the characters in new places was exciting, Born Again also needs a cohesive storyline. Season 2 is moving in that direction, connecting Mr. Charles to Valentina Allegra de Fontaine and having characters mention other universes. This makes Daredevil: Born Again season 2 feel like the show and its characters are now truly part of the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This storyline has potential for more growth, and with the future plans for Daredevil, we can hope to see that happen.

Daredevil: Born Again Has Already Been Confirmed To Return In Season 3

The Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) has renewed Daredevil: Born Again for a third season, making it the first live-action TV show in the MCU to receive this confirmation. Although Loki had two seasons, Wonder Man is getting a second, and the animated series What If…? concluded after three, Daredevil‘s storyline is set to continue.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is entering a new phase. The big-screen movies will continue to showcase large-scale events and team-ups with heroes like the Avengers, while shows will allow characters like Daredevil and Wonder Man to explore more personal, grounded stories. Though their conflicts are smaller in scope, these characters’ journeys are just as meaningful.

Great news! Daredevil: Born Again has been renewed for a third season. Hopefully, the show will continue beyond that, with Matt Murdock still protecting the people of New York and Daredevil battling injustice to safeguard the city from villains like Wilson Fisk.
