In the game “Avowed”, the quest titled “The Totem of Rightful Ownership” asks players to gather scattered pieces, specifically the Golden Flames fragment, to construct Woedica’s Totem at the party camp. The elusive Golden Flames can be a challenge if you’re not keen on exploration, but it’s hidden near the city of Paradis. Keep in mind though, that you might need to swim to get there.
How to Find the Golden Flames Totem Fragment in Avowed
In the game Avowed, seekers can discover the Golden Flames for the Totem of Rightful Ownership quest on Castol’s Folly island. This island is situated southeast of Southern Paradis. Upon arriving at Castol’s Folly, follow the path marked by torches. Proceed across a camp with tents and continue moving towards the left side of the island until you come to a crossroads featuring an orange tower dome nestled among rocks.
Starting at the crossroads, take a left and make your way towards the area with the bonfire structure. There, you’ll come across several chasms that you’ll need to leap over to reach the front part of the island. Upon reaching the edge, you’ll discover a piece of cloth or tarp on the ground, with the Totem Fragment tucked underneath it. Gather the Totem Fragment, and it will be marked as obtained in your quest log.
How to Reach Castol’s Folly in Avowed
If you’ve been pondering over how to access Castol’s Folly island in Avowed, you’re not the only one. The island doesn’t have a clear path leading up to it; instead, there are just rocks and wreckage. A good method for reaching Castol’s Folly involves following the trail marked in the image provided.
From Ondra’s Reach Beacon near Shantytown, begin your journey by following the coastline. Continue along the shore until you come across a Xaurip Camp. Here, you’ll encounter several Xaurip Fighters and Priests, as well as some beetles that require elimination. Don’t forget to search the camp once you’ve cleared it for additional loot.
After wrapping things up, gaze towards the island in the distance. Swim strokes will get you there, all the way to its edge, where land awaits. Stick to the path that circles around Castol’s Folly until you come across a shipwreck. Cross over the wreckage and ascend onto the platform adorned with wooden planks. Now, leap from one platform to another until I find myself standing atop Castol’s Folly in Avowed.
