Ryan Reynolds has a “really smart” idea for Deadpool 4, according to T.J. Miller.
Deadpool & Wolverine, the latest film in the Deadpool series, came out in 2024. Shawn Levy directed the movie, with Ryan Reynolds reprising his role as Wade Wilson. Although Marvel hasn’t officially confirmed a fourth Deadpool film, there’s a lot of discussion about the possibility of it being part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
T.J. Miller isn’t appearing in the new Deadpool & Wolverine movie. He previously played Weasel in the first two films, but faced legal troubles and accusations, including a sexual assault allegation and an arrest for a false bomb threat. While he hasn’t been in many projects lately, he did provide a voice role in the animated series F Is for Family in 2021.
What is the update on Deadpool 4?
During an interview with 101 WRIF Detroit, someone asked if the character Weasel might return in Deadpool 4, or if that possibility had passed.
Honestly, all I can tell you is the project hasn’t moved forward – and that’s all I’m at liberty to say. It’s so frustrating! Marvel is incredibly protective of its secrets, and they really clamp down on anyone talking about things that aren’t officially announced. They just tell you to keep quiet, and that’s that.
He has a fantastic idea for the next Deadpool movie. Honestly, it’s incredibly clever – I got chills when he told me! I didn’t think anything could be more original than Deadpool & Wolverine, but he’s come up with something truly different. It’s ready to go, though he has other projects he’s working on first. I’ve always been a fan of his; I think he’s incredibly funny.
A release date for Deadpool 4 hasn’t been announced yet. However, you can currently watch Deadpool & Wolverine on Disney+.
