DC & Marvel Confirm 2 Unlikely Crossovers That Will Excite Fans

For more than twenty years, DC and Marvel Comics kept their characters separate, never allowing them to appear together in the same comic books. However, that changed in 2025 when they published comics featuring both Deadpool and Batman. Since then, they’ve released several team-up specials, and recently announced two new crossovers that seem particularly surprising.

DC and Marvel are releasing two new crossover comics exclusively on their digital platforms. This follows a pattern that began last year with team-ups like The Flash/Fantastic Four and Thor/Shazam.

What are the two newest DC/Marvel crossovers?

The first special pairs Supergirl with Blade in a story by CRC Payne, illustrated by Mikel Janin. They’re kidnapped by Mojo, a villain from the X-Men, who wants them to star in a vampire romance show. But the danger they face on set is very real, not just part of the performance.

This special teams up Aquaman, DC’s underwater king, with Jeff the Land Shark! Written by Kelly Thompson and illustrated by Andres Genolet, the story follows the unlikely duo as they battle a giant monster threatening Coney Island. Marvel is advertising a fun, action-packed adventure with ‘big waves, big laughs, and even bigger monsters’!

I’m really excited about the new Supergirl/Blade team-up, but it looks like it’s only available on DC Universe Infinite. The good news is, if you’re new to the service, you’ll get to read it for free for 30 days starting April 8, 2026! And for Marvel fans, the Jeff/Aquaman story is exclusive to Marvel Unlimited, but they’re offering it for free too! You just need to use the code CROSSOVER26 at Marvel.com/redeem to access it. It’s awesome that both companies are letting new subscribers try these crossovers out!
