Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson, who famously played Joey Potter and Pacey Witter on the TV show Dawson’s Creek, are going to star together in a new romantic movie.
So, I just heard that Tom Holland and Zendaya are going to be in this new movie called Happy Hours! Apparently, Tom’s actually writing and directing it, which is awesome. The story’s about an old couple who reconnect after a long time apart, and it sounds like they’re finally going to try and get some closure. I’m already hyped to see how it plays out!
I’m really excited for this new romance movie! It stars some awesome actors – Mary-Louise Parker, Joe Tippett, and Constance Wu are all in it. And get this – it’s actually going to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival, which is happening from June 3rd to the 14th. I’m definitely checking it out!

The film Happy Hours will premiere on June 6th, with additional screenings the following week. Tickets for the yearly New York City film festival will be available starting April 28th.
The movie is planned as the first in a three-part series, and according to Deadline, both Holmes and Jackson will appear in all three films. Work on the sequels will start shortly, and some of the actors have already been confirmed.

The cast now includes John McGinty, Donald Webber Jr., Nathan Darrow, Johnna Dias-Watson, and Jack Martin. While they aren’t expected to appear in the first movie, they may play roles in the second and third installments.
After it was announced that Happy Hours would premiere at the festival in June, Holmes shared a photo on Instagram with his co-star, Jackson.
We’re incredibly excited to share that our film, Happy Hours, will be at the Tribeca Film Festival this June! It was a real team effort, and I especially loved working with Josh again.
Last month, Jackson discussed the project on Today, explaining to PEOPLE that Katie had written a touching story about the different stages of a relationship, which they both connected with.
We’ve already filmed the most enjoyable scenes – the part where the characters fall in love – and she’s currently editing them. We’re hoping the finished product will allow us to film the remaining two parts of the story.
Besides Happy Hours, another romantic film, Next Life starring Emilia Clarke and Edgar Ramírez, will also premiere at this year’s Tribeca Film Festival.
Happy Hours will premiere at the 25th Tribeca Film Festival in June.
