Dave Gardner, a close friend of David Beckham, posted a photo with Marc Anthony and Cruz Beckham to celebrate Cruz turning 21.

Although it seemed like a harmless act, the post felt significant because of the ongoing family drama involving the Beckhams. This came after Brooklyn Beckham publicly accused Marc of acting inappropriately at his wedding in 2022.

Brooklyn recently spoke out about his family issues, claiming his mother, Victoria, interfered with his first dance at his wedding to Nicola Peltz. He said that while Marc was performing, he was unexpectedly asked to come on stage, interrupting the dance.

Dave recently honored Cruz by posting a photo from his 2022 baptism. The picture, taken at Holy Trinity Church in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire, shows Cruz being baptized with his sister, Harper. Dave and Marc served as Cruz’s godfathers at the ceremony.

I really felt like this post was directed at Brooklyn, especially after he publicly shared that incredibly honest, six-page message on Instagram where he explained he was distancing himself from his mom and dad, David and Victoria. It just seemed like a direct response to everything he’d said.

It was so sweet to see everyone, including Dave, wishing Cruz a happy birthday! But honestly, seeing Marc in the post felt a little like a dig at Brooklyn, and it kind of bothered me.

As a lifestyle expert, I’ve been following the drama surrounding Marc and Brooklyn’s family issues, and Marc has finally spoken out. He’s essentially saying that everything Brooklyn has claimed just isn’t accurate – the whole situation is far from the truth, according to him. It’s a really tough situation, and it’s good to hear his side of things.

Brooklyn’s main point was the claim that Victoria had unfairly taken over, and that Marc had disrespected the bride.

He alleged that his mother behaved very inappropriately towards him in public, dancing on him in front of others. He stated this was the most uncomfortable and humiliating experience of his life.

Marc, a longtime friend of David and Victoria, commented on their public disagreement, calling it ‘very sad’ and suggesting that much of what’s been reported isn’t accurate.

In a series of Instagram stories, Brooklyn accused his parents of attempting to sabotage his relationship with Nicola and of having controlled him throughout much of his life.

Marc unexpectedly pulled Brooklyn and then Victoria onto the dance floor during the wedding, taking over a special moment that Brooklyn and Nicola had meticulously planned.

According to reports, the singer surprised everyone by inviting what he called ‘the most beautiful woman in the room’ to dance with him – and it wasn’t the bride, Nicola, but Victoria Beckham, leaving guests shocked.

Nicola was heartbroken watching Marc perform a romantic dance on stage, and she left the room crying.

According to DJ Fat Tony, who played at the wedding, Nicola Peltz’s family confronted her and Brooklyn Beckham after an uncomfortable dance, and Brooklyn immediately went to find his new wife.

Before Marc addressed the accusations, Fat Tony, the DJ at Brooklyn and Nicola’s wedding, said the Latin singer was responsible.

A close friend of the Beckhams, Tony, shared that Marc had asked Victoria to dance with their son, and then told the boy, ‘Put your hands on your mother’s hips.’
