Daisy May Cooper recalls story of a woman who was 'lifted away by aliens' as she discusses crop circles with brother Charlie for his new TV show

As an ardent fan of all things quirky and British, I find myself utterly captivated by the enigmatic world of Daisy May Cooper. Her life seems to be a perpetual whirlwind of intrigue and talent that never ceases to amaze me. The latest snippet from her brother Charlie’s TV show, Myth Country, has only served to fuel my fascination further.

Daisy May Cooper shared a tale about a lady who claimed to have been abducted by extraterrestrials while conversing with her brother Charlie on the topic of crop circles for his television program.

In a sneak peek before BBC Three’s Myth Country, due for broadcast on Friday, the siblings chat remotely via FaceTime.

For the programme Charlie tours the UK in a camper van to investigate rural myths and legends.

Calling his sister with an update, he explained to her: ‘The weirdest thing happened today. I actually went into my first crop circle.

Upon entering, I instantly felt a shiver running down my spine, similar to the sensation when you run a balloon over your hair, creating a slight electric charge.

Daisy said: “You recall Judy, don’t you? One time, while walking her dog, she suddenly found herself around 20 miles away! And she firmly thinks that she was abducted by aliens. She is utterly convinced of the authenticity of crop circles.

‘Do you believe her when she says that?’

Charlie replied: “Given my experience of being here and being in a similar situation, it seems overly simplistic to merely suggest ‘alien’ as an explanation, as I believe there may be something much deeper happening instead.

I am certain that these structures are constructed along power lines linking ancient sites such as Stonehenge and Avebury, which date back to antiquity.

In a fresh, fact-based television show, Charlie explores various mysteries such as crop formations and UFO sightings in Wiltshire, stray spectral hounds in the coastal and rural regions of East Anglia, and more.

He plans to interact with both supporters and skeptics, exploring famous landmarks while collecting data in an attempt to uncover the real facts.

It was recently disclosed that, over the past two years, Daisy earned approximately £2 million, thanks to a surge in her acting career that has led people to compare her favorably with the next potential female character M in the James Bond series.

The exceptionally skilled actress from “This Country” has amassed her wealth through leading roles in highly successful shows like the comedic drama “Rain Dogs” and “Am I Being Unreasonable?”.

Last month, Daisy Cooper Ltd submitted its annual financial reports, showing they paid a total of £189,601 as corporation tax for the period ending on March 31, 2023.

At a 19 per cent rate, the firm made an approximate profit of £997,900.

Last year, in 2022, the company reported paying a tax sum of £155,865, resulting in an impressive profit of approximately £820,342. Given its size, it was exempt from submitting a profit and loss statement.

However, Daisy didn’t always find herself in such a situation. She modeled This Country on her own experiences and those of her brother Charlie, who, like themselves, were often jobless and spent their days idly in the picturesque Cotswolds without much purpose.

Starting October 4th at 21:00, you’ll find me immersed in Charlie Cooper’s Myth Country on BBC Three! Don’t worry if you miss an episode; they’ll be available for viewing anytime on iPlayer.
